Die Mutter muss schon seit Tagen nicht mehr am Nest gewesen sein. Wir k\u00f6nnen nur erahnen, was passiert ist, aber vermutlich ist sie tot &#8211; entweder verhungert\/verdurstet oder \u00fcberfahren bei der Suche nach Nahrung\/Wasser.<br>Die sehr warmen Witterungsverh\u00e4ltnisse machen vielen Tieren zu schaffen, sie finden zu wenig Nahrung und mitunter kein Wasser. Deshalb m\u00f6chten wir hier nochmals darum bitten:<br>Stellen Sie flache Schalen mit <strong>Frischwasser<\/strong> auf (z.B. Untersetzer f\u00fcr Blument\u00f6pfe). Die Igel, aber auch V\u00f6gel, Insekten und andere Tiere werden es Ihnen danken.<br>Igel sind Insektenfresser, sie ern\u00e4hren sich aber auch von Wirbellosen (z.B. Regenw\u00fcrmer), Spinnen, Vogeleiern und kleinen S\u00e4ugetieren.<br><strong>Haben Sie Igel im Garten?<\/strong> Dann helfen Sie ihnen bei der Futtersuche und stellen Futter bereit. Besonders geeignet ist <strong>Katzenfutter mit hohem Fleischanteil <\/strong>(z.B. Animonda Carny). Igel sind bis ca. Mitte November unterwegs. Eine der zur Zeit h\u00e4ufigsten Verletzungsquellen sind derzeit M\u00e4hroboter. Die kleinen Stachler werden dabei teilweise skalpiert, Gliedma\u00dfen werden abgetrennt. Wenn sie nicht sofort Hilfe erhalten, ist das ihr Todesurteil. Gerade bei den hei\u00dfen Temperaturen schl\u00fcpfen Fliegenlarven innerhalb von Stunden &#8211; und fressen den Igel quasi lebendig auf.<br><strong><br>Das klingt wie in einem Horrorfilm?<\/strong> Ja &#8211; f\u00fcr uns auch!<br><br>Darum unsere Bitte: <br><strong>Lassen Sie Ihre M\u00e4hroboter nicht unbeaufsichtigt laufen<\/strong>; vor allem in den fr\u00fchen Morgen- und Abendstunden sind reichlich Wildtiere aktiv.
